Grazing Table Toronto behind the scenes: Women in architecture
The Graze Anatomy was honoured to be invited into Miller Knoll’s sleek showroom to cater for their Women in Architecture conference.
Here’s how we brought that vision to life—Toronto style.

Designing in 3D: Clean, White, Geometric, and reflecting an iconic Toronto showroom.
For this grazing table setup, the client's requested a more modern style with a unique colour palette to reflect Toronto's architecture and the branding of the event.
This required us to use a sophisticated designing process so we could visualize a tiered grazing table based on the dimensions of the table.
We first modeled the entire 20 foot table with plates and serving dishes in 3D software, testing angles and sight-lines so that the entire grazing table would pop from every angle.
It was new to us, but it also allowed us to make sure we could prepared enough cheese, charcuterie, fruit, crudite and desserts for all of the guests.

Bringing Structure with Modern Flatlays
The final arrangement was based on architectural geometry—squares within rectangles, rows symmetrically edged—and playing off the minimalism of the showroom.
We really wanted to play off the gorgeous lighting overhanging the table and made sure the "pillars" met directly under them.
